Host Committee

Do you love Temple Emanu-El? Come and share your enthusiasm for our spiritual home by joining the Host Committee. From greeting guests at temple events to helping newcomers find their place in our congregation, we can use your spirit and assistance. Please contact Alyson or Chuck Pollack at alypal@bellsouth.net or 770 - 664 - 7707, or look for them at Friday Night Services.

Prayer Books

Time for a change? Time to change Prayer books that is… In August, Temple Emanu-El will begin using Mishkan Tefillah, the new Prayer book of the Reform movement. During our summer casual Shabbat Services, we will be discussing and studying the new Prayer book and ways that its use will enhance our spiritual experience. Each week’s lesson will be made available, in shortened form, on our website. Last Shabbat’s topic, “Just the Facts: How Can We Use This New Book for Spiritual Growth?” will be available online Thursday, July 3rd.

Temple Office Volunteer

A Volunteer is needed in the office for three evenings a week from         5 - 8 PM to tend the door. If you are a student, this is a good opportunity for you to earn Mitzvah points. Please contact Beverly Brown in the Temple office at 770-395-1340 x255 or at bbrown@temple-emanuel.net.
