30th Anniversary Shabbat Service

PLAN TO ATTEND!
Friday, March 14 at 8:00 PM – Temple Emanu-El will hold a special 3oth Anniversary Shabbat Service featuring original music composed by special guest, Cantor Robbie Solomon, internationally known composer of Jewish songs and choral works. Cantor Benjamin Adler along with Cantor Robbie Solomon, the Temple choir and musicians from our congregation will participate in this special service.

Year-End Statements

NOTE: By now you should have received your Temple Emanu-El 2007 year-end statement. It has recently come to our attention that due to a systemic error, High Holiday tickets were classified as non-tax deductible. Please note when filing your income tax return, that any separately purchased High Holiday ticket(s) are in fact tax deductible. If you would like a corrected copy of your statement, please call Karen Wolf at ext.232. We apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused.
 

Friday, February 29:

  • 8:00 PM – Shabbat Service. Rabbi Schwartz’s sermon is entitled “Have We Run Out of Truth?”

Shabbat is about community. Feel welcome to arrive as early as 7:30pm for snacks and socializing as we prepare for Shabbat Services.
 

Saturday, March 01:

  • Chevrah Torah at 9:00 AM. – Shabbat Vayahkel - Exodus 35:1-36:19.  All are welcome.
  • Tot Shabbat in Brill Chapel at 9:30 AM.
  • Casual Shabbat Service in the Chapel at 10:00 AM.
  • Shabbat Service in the Sanctuary at 10:00 AM. During Services we will celebrate the B’not Mitzvah of Michelle Kaufman and Megan Pelts.
 

Sunday, March 02:

  • Minyan in the Chapel – 9:15-9:30 AM
  • Religious School/Oneg 8th Grade Teen Program- 9:15 AM
  • Adult Advanced Hebrew Class in Room 133 – 9:30 AM
  • Trop Class in the Chapel – 9:30 AM
  • Family B’nai Mitzvah Class in the Sanctuary– 9:30 AM
  • Back to Bible Class in the Board Room– 10:30 AM
  • Adult Advanced Beginners Hebrew Class in Room 133 – 11:15 AM–12:00 PM
  • First Dance Productions Of Atlanta in the Brill (downstairs) – 11:15 AM-12:10 PM
   
 

Jazzercise at Temple Emanu-El

These 1-hour classes are held on Mondays & Wednesdays in the social hall at 9:00am.  RSVP to Nikkia Wright, Certified Jazzercise Instructor, at jazz4nikkia@comcast.net.  Single class sessions are available at $9/session.  Come prepared to have fun!
