Last chance to voice your opinion

Many of you participated in our recent focus groups and we appreciate your important feedback and time.  For those who were unable to join us, please take a few minutes to share your thoughts in a brief survey (the link is below).  The strategic planning committee is committed to providing a constructive framework for our future and your input is a vital part of building a successful structure.  We look forward to sharing the strategic plan with the congregation in early fall. The deadline for participation in this survey is Monday, June 30th.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

New Prayer Books

Time for a change? Time to change Prayer books that is… In August, Temple Emanu-El will begin using Mishkan Tefillah, the new Prayer book of the Reform movement. During our summer casual Shabbat Services, we will be discussing and studying the new Prayer book and ways that its use will enhance our spiritual experience. Each week’s lesson will be made available, in shortened form, on our website. Last Shabbat’s topic, “What’s In a Name?... Why the new Prayer book is called Mishkan Tefillah” will be available online Thursday, June 19th.

Office Volunteer

A Volunteer is needed in the office for three evenings a week from 5 - 8 PM to tend the door. If you are a student, this is a good opportunity fro you to earn Mitzvah points. Please contact Beverly Brown in the Temple office at 770-395-1340 x255 or at bbrown@temple-emanuel.net.
