Our Mission
The Schiff Preschool builds the foundation for your child’s Jewish identity while developing the social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills every child needs to develop a positive self-image. Schiff Preschool offers brand new facilities including spacious classrooms and a new playground in a safe, secure environment
Learning Method
Schiff Preschool uses the phonemic awareness approach to learning.
This program helps children heighten their ability to hear sounds and become better readers. The program is implemented through games, songs and rhymes. Each class theme dictates the age appropriate curriculum.
The developmentally appropriate curriculum includes:
- Jewish Education

- Movement
- Science & Nature
- Arts and Crafts
- Language Development
- Weekly Shabbat Celebrations
Accreditation
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits Schiff Preschool. Only 5% of preschool programs in the United States achieve this accreditation.
Schiff Preschool Staff
Andi Miller is the director of Schiff Preschool.
The Schiff Preschool teachers are experienced educators. Many of them have been here since the school was established. They receive ongoing training, thus delivering a comprehensive learning program while creating a warm nurturing environment.
Judaic, movement and music specialists enrich our children’s preschool experience.
A licensed psychologist is available to assist both teachers and families with the changing needs of our children.
